Most of the
festival's events will take place at Benjamin T. Rome School of Music
on campus of the Catholic
University of America in Washington, D.C.
Accommodations
The
WIPF participants 18 years or older will be able to stay at the
nearby Sulpician seminary during the festival (401 Michigan Avenue, N.E.
Washington, D.C. 20017) - a walking distance to the music building of
the Catholic University. The rate is $60 per night inlcuding daily meals
(breakfast, lunch, and dinner), all taxes included. Laundry machines are
available, and linens will be provided.

option 2 in the registration, you
can secure your accommodation at this convenient location. Click

Only 50
participants will be able to stay at the seminary, and requests for
staying at the seminary will be processed on a first-come-first-served
basis. We encourage you to apply as early as possible if you want to stay
there.
For participants who would like to stay in a hotel, below please find
the list of recommended hotels which are located close to the Union Station
- three stops away from the Brookland-Catholic University of America metro
station. It will be the participant's responsibility to contact the hotel
and book a room.

Dining
There are many dining locations on campus of the Catholic
University of America (including restaurants at the Pryzbyla
Student Center and cafe at the Basilica of the National Shrine) as
well as in close proximity to the University.
Transportation
The major airport gateways to Washington DC are Ronald Reagan Washington
National Airport (National), Dulles International Airport, and Baltimore/Washington
Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI). Arrivals may be scheduled
for Saturday, July 24, and departures may be planned for Sunday, August
1, 2010.
Getting
to Campus
-by metro: take the red line train (direction of Glenmont)
to the Brookland-CUA station. Exit to the left when leaving the station.
-by taxi: Cab fare from Union Station to Catholic University is
approximately $10. The University's street address is 620 Michigan Avenue,
NE.
-by car: Click

Parking
There is a FREE parking available all day until 6:30 pm at the corner
of Michigan Ave and Harewood Rd (parking of the Basilica of the National
Shrine). After 6:30 you may park for free on Harewood Road.
