Most of the festival's events will take place at Benjamin T. Rome School of Music on campus of the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Accommodations

Dormitory of the Theological College Participants 18 years or older

The WIPF participants 18 years or older will be able to stay at the nearby Sulpician seminary during the festival (401 Michigan Avenue, N.E. Washington, D.C. 20017) - a walking distance to the music building of the Catholic University. The rate is $75 per night inlcuding daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), all taxes included. Laundry machines are available.

By choosing option 2 in the registration, you can secure your accommodation at this convenient location. Click here for more information about the seminary's facilities and regulations.

Only 50 participants will be able to stay at the seminary, and requests for staying at the seminary will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. We encourage you to apply as early as possible if you want to stay there.

Participants Under 18

For WIPF participants under 18, we recommend accommodation at the Centro Maria Residence (650 Jackson St. NE, Washington, DC 20017) - also a walking distance to the music building of the Catholic University. Click here for information about the rooms and the services offered by the Centro Maria Residence. The price for a single room is $60.00 per night, and it includes two meals (breakfast and dinner). For participants who will be traveling with a parent, the Centro can arrange an additional bed in the room. The price for a single room with two people is $70.00. This also includes two meals (breakfast and dinner for two people). The number of rooms at the Centro is limited. Therefore, all requests for staying at the Centro Maria Residence will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. If you would like us to reserve a room for you, you need to mail a check in the amount of $1,280 ($800 tuition fee + 8 nights stay for participant ONLY) or
$1,360 ($800 tuition fee + 8 nights stay for a participant travelling with parent) to:

For participants who would like to stay in a hotel, below please find the list of recommended hotels which are located close to the Union Station - three stops away from the Brookland-Catholic University of America metro station. It will be the participant's responsibility to contact the hotel and book a room.

Dining Pryzbyla Center, CUA
There are many dining locations on campus of the Catholic University of America (including restaurants at the Pryzbyla Student Center and cafe at the Basilica of the National Shrine) as well as in close proximity to the University.

Transportation
The major airport gateways to Washington DC are Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (National), Dulles International Airport, and Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI). Arrivals may be scheduled for Saturday, July 28, and departures may be planned for Sunday, August 5, 2012.

Getting to Campus
-by metro: take the red line train (direction of Glenmont) to the Brookland-CUA station. Exit to the left when leaving the station.
-by taxi: Cab fare from Union Station to Catholic University is approximately $10. The University's street address is 620 Michigan Avenue, NE.

Parking
There is a FREE parking available all day until 6:30 pm at the corner of Michigan Ave and Harewood Rd (parking of the Basilica of the National Shrine). After 6:30 you may park for free on Harewood Road.
